The participants of the German Electric Kart Championship had to wait nine weeks fore the next races. Last weekend (July 12th – 14th), the next event took place in Kerpen and numerous spectators got to see thrilling kart racing on the Erftlandring. The interntional field of participants fought thrilling duels. Guest driver and DTM driver Ferdinand Habsburg stood on the third place of the podium on Sunday.

After a nine-week-long break, the participants of the German Kart Championship are going to start on the Erftlandring in Kerpen now. The venerable track has been a constant part of the DKM racing calendar for years and always poses a special challenge. Formula 1 record World Champion Michael Schumacher and four-time Formula 1 World Champion and DKM patron Sebastian Vettel already began their motorsports careers there. In the DEKM, DTM-driver Ferdinand Habsburg is going to start as a popular guest driver.

After a nine-week break, the season of the German Electric Kart Championship is going to continue (12. – 14. July). 14 young drivers from seven nations are going to start into the next ranked races on the Erftlandring in Kerpen. The championship is currently being led by Berlin resident Luka Wlömer. Austrian DTM-driver Ferdinand von Habsburg starts as a popular guest driver.

The next event of the German Kart Championship took place last weekend in Wackersdorf (Upper Palatine). 185 participants from all over the world started at the next ranked races and there were several surprises. The weather caused lots of excitement again.
