ADAC Formula 4 goes into its seventh year in 2021. There will once again be a total of 21 races contested over seven events timed to coincide with the ADAC GT Masters weekends. On the technical side, the junior series has opted for continuity, with Formula 1 supplier Pirelli retained as exclusive tyre partner. ADAC Formula 4 will continue to offer talented youngsters from Germany and abroad a competitive platform for entering the world of formula racing in the coming year. The curtain-raiser to the seventh season of the series will get underway on the weekend of 14th - 16th May 2021 at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

The 2020 ADAC Formula 4 season will open in parallel with the ADAC GT Masters on the weekend of 30th July - 1st August at the Lausitzring in Brandenburg. The total number of events will be seven, just as originally planned. ADAC Formula 4 will be part of the support programme on six of the scheduled ADAC GT Masters weekends, omitting only the Sachsenring and instead of sharing the billing with the ADAC TOTAL 24-hour race at the Nürburgring (24th - 27th September).
